A domain filter is a named list of sites. A whitelist limits an order to those sites; a blacklist keeps an order away from them. One list can serve any number of orders, so you maintain it in one place.
Create a list
- Open Domain filters and click Create new list.
- Choose the List type: Blacklist or Whitelist.
- Enter a List name, up to 60 characters.
- Paste the sites into Domains (one per line). Full URLs are fine — they are cleaned down to the domain.
- Tick Apply to all new buy orders if every new order should get this list automatically.
- Save.
The Domain filters page shows each list's type, how many domains it holds and how many buy orders use it.
Attach a list to a buy order
In the Targeting step of a buy order, under Domain Filter, click Select from existing. An order can use:
- one whitelist, or
- up to 5 blacklists.
Lists created with Apply to all new buy orders are already attached to new orders and marked Auto-applied to all new orders.
Find domains worth blocking
Open a buy order's statistics and use the By source tab. Sources that spend without converting are good blacklist candidates. To do this automatically, set up an automation rule that adds such sources to a blacklist for you.
