BetterAds Status shows, for each of your approved domains, whether it is listed by the reports that make browsers and ad blockers hide ads. If a domain is listed, fewer of its visitors see ads — and you sell less.
Open BetterAds Status and pick the Publisher domains tab. Tick Show only affected (BetterAds & EasyList) to see only domains with a problem.
What it checks
| Column | Report | What a problem means |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | EasyList | The domain is on the list ad blockers use. Visitors with an ad blocker won't see ads |
| BA | Google Better Ads | Chrome filters ads on the site. Visitors using Chrome won't see them |
| Ab | Google Abusive Experience | Chrome removes ads and blocks new windows on the site |
The other columns show whether filtering or enforcement is active on mobile (M.Filt, M.Enf), desktop (D.Filt, D.Enf) and for abusive experiences (Ab.Filt, Ab.Enf).
What to do
- Better Ads or Abusive Experience failing: fix the violations on your site, then submit it for review in Google Search Console — for abusive experiences, before the enforcement date.
- EasyList: being on the list reduces the visitors who see ads. Contact your account manager if you think the listing is wrong.
The EasyList info, Better Ads info and Abusive info buttons on the page explain each report.
