Targeting decides which impressions your buy order can buy. Countries are set in the General step; everything else lives in the Targeting step. By default an order buys all matching traffic, so you only need to change what you want to narrow.
Countries and regions
Set in General → Geographic targeting.
- All countries — one bid for the whole world.
- Specific countries — pick countries one by one, or use Quick select to add all Tier-1, Tier-2 or Tier-3 countries. You then set a bid per country.
Turn on Region targeting to buy only from selected regions inside the chosen countries. With no regions selected, the order targets every region.
Devices
Mobile, Tablet, Desktop, Console and Smart TV. All are on by default; keep at least one.
Traffic origin
The traffic sources your order buys from. All sources are selected on a new order. Keep Automatically add new sources as they become available on to start buying from new sources as soon as they appear.
Content categories
Content categories (thematic) lists the site categories available for your vertical. All are selected by default; untick the ones you don't want.
Time frames
Time frames (UTC) is off by default, which means the order runs 24/7. Turn it on to choose the Weekdays and Hours of day (UTC) when the order buys. All times are in UTC.
Advanced targeting
Each option can Target (buy only these) or Block (buy everything except these).

Domain filters
Attach your own lists of domains to buy only from some sites or to keep away from others:
- one whitelist — the order buys only from these domains, or
- up to 5 blacklists — the order never buys from these domains.
Tick Don't buy from my own domains so the order never buys traffic from domains registered to your own account — the sites you sell traffic from. Lists marked Auto-applied to all new orders are attached to every new order automatically. See Domain filters.
Bids by source
Under Pricing & Limits → Custom bids by source you can bid differently for specific sources. Bids that an automation rule set for you are tagged auto.
